Formula Electric Belgium unites a group of motivated engineering students from different KU Leuven and Thomas More campuses. The Formula project offers team members a unique experience in international motorsport.
Every year, Formula Electric Belgium develops and builds a high-performance, green, electric, one-man racing car. During the summer, the team travels through Europe with the green bolide to participate in different matches of the Formula Student competition.
The team actively promotes electric driving and shares acquired knowledge and experience with other students by developing informative educational modules.
Using brainwaves, 3D-printing, advanced electronics, signal analysis, machine learning and so much more, the student team of NeuroTech Leuven fuses neurology, technology and psychology into one. As part of the NeuroTechX community, they participate in a global competition against 30+ other student teams, each competing to present the best neurotech project to a panel of judges.
In addition to this competitive element, NeuroTech Leuven organizes and attends events, where they showcase their software and hardware in an interactive way. They also connect students, experts and companies to further develop everyone's professional network.
The Aether team brings together young engineers who are passionate about space technology. We are designing a CubeSat: a nanosatellite consisting of 10x10x10 cm units. In the past decade, the CubeSat standard has enabled countless new innovations in the space industry.
We are designing our satellite to survive atmospheric re-entry. This allows us to retrieve the scientific experiments on board: bringing sample recovery to the small and accessible CubeSat platform!
Nearly one-third of all food produced in the world is never eaten. Team Circl-E unites engineering students to develop innovative and circular solutions which contribute to a more sustainable food system. The work of this team is made possible through the generous support of partnerships with various companies. Thanks to these collaborations, the students are introduced to all aspects of entrepreneurship and business innovation.
In brief, the Circl-E team offers a unique and hands-on experience with the opportunity to create a lasting social impact.
