Smart meter

THE SMART METER

Soon we'll all have a smart meter in our house. This data can be used to detect anomalies in pattern recognition. An anomaly in the normal pattern could mean something is wrong with the person. Help the aging society with a smart meter

as a guardian angel of the elderly who warns their loved ones when abnormal behaviour occurs.

Due to the ageing of the population and the acute shortage of care centres and

staff, we as a society have to look for ways to accommodate older people longer in their home in a safe and supportive way. This project contributes to the monitoring

of the behaviour of elderly people so that a better and faster response can be made in response to atypical behaviour.
