BATTLE ON
HIGHWAY 305
Every year in September, Highway 305 in Battle Mountain (Neveda, USA) is the battleground of the ‘World Human Powered Speed Record Challenge’. This is the Formula 1 race of the cycling world. Be part of the team that will attack the existing world record of 144.2 km/h in 2021.
Take on the challenge and team up with a top cyclist in a fully self-built high-tech recumbent against teams from all over the world to break the world record in the rugged and dusty Sierras of Northwest Nevada.
EXPECTED RESULTS
- Participation in the World Championship 'World Human Powered Speed Record Challenge' with a self-designed prototype
- Production of an aerodynamic high-tech recumbent with which the boundaries of the human being can be pushed back
- General public's fascination with human powered mobility in a world
